We organize sightseeing tours for hunters and non-hunters through some of the most beautiful parts of South Africa. Should you wish to experience the tranquility and beauty of South Africa, we can add a sightseeing tour to your hunting safari, or you can inform us what your needs are and we will plan a memorable touring experience for you and your family. Whatever your interests may be, we will plan every aspect of your visit, from arrival to departure, on a personal basis. We have a few packages based on what we have found to be the more popular destinations and combinations of activities for our clients over the years. These trips range from short 3 to 7 day packages ideal for an add-on to your hunting safari or we also offer longer 12 to 14 day packages. Tours will not be crowded – no large groups, but rather intimate, personal journeys put together around your personal needs.
Kruger National Park
Truly the flagship of the South African National Parks, Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best Africa has to offer. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2.5 million hectares, is unrivaled in the diversity and splendor. It is a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies. The Kruger National Park is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Here you can enjoy your game viewing in an air-conditioned vehicle accompanied by the friendly and capable personnel of Rasland African Ventures. This tour begins in Johannesburg and en route to the Kruger National Park you will travel through some of the most spectacular areas offering magnificent views of a very special part of South Africa.
Garden Route and Cape Town
An option always popular to tourists visiting South Africa! Starting in Cape Town, you will experience the uniqueness of the Cape folded mountains and the Klein Karoo, the taste of the best winelands and the unrivaled beauty of the world’s best known peninsula – the Cape!
Kruger National Park, Garden Route and Cape Town
This option combines some of the most favorite destinations for tourists visiting South Africa. From the splendor of the flagship of the South African National Parks, the Kruger National Park, to the tranquility of the Garden Route and Klein Karoo and then to the majestic Table Mountain of Cape Town, this tour will bring you the best South Africa can offer.
All Driving – Johannesburg – Cape Town – Johannesburg
Choosing this option will ensure you the experience of traveling through the back country while visiting small towns and places not normally visited on a conventional tour while you don’t want to miss the bigger points of interest like the Garden Route and Cape Town. This tour starts and ends in Johannesburg and will enable you to experience why South Africa is called a World in One Country!
