Hunting Giant Eland, Bongo, Giant Forest Hog, Leopard & Lion

Central Africa Republic - Bongo grazing

Our safaris take place in the eastern part of the Central African Republic.  This is quite possibly the most remote hunting area left in Africa today.  It is more than 100 kilometers to the closest road.  Our safari hunting area is one million hectares.  Five hunting camps have been constructed here and over two thousand kilometers of roads have been built.

A private landing strip is located in the central part of the hunting concession.  The charter flight from Banqui takes approximately 2 ½ hours.  The hunting area is made up of both Savannahs and Central Africa Republic - Lord Derby Eland 1tropical rain forests.  It’s amazing to be standing on a peak glassing over dry burnt landscape and in a matter of moments walk down into a rain forest, where clear streams flow and the dense vegetation leaves you feeling like you are in one of Africas jungles.  Due to these two totally different habitats both Savannah and forest species can be hunted during the entire hunting season.  Hunting season opens in late December and continues until June, with the dry season being in January, February and March.  Normally, the rains start in late March, making April, May and June green and lush.  In order to be able to hunt this vast area five hunting camps have been built or placed to help avoid long drives between hunting areas.

The following trophies are available and the trophy fees are payable upon harvesting or wounding each animal.  All fees are quoted in Euro.
